New website for Reed Farm in Waterford Ontario to promote their Farrier Services, Calf-Cattle Operations and their Cutting Horses.

Though the site is mainly static information pages except for a journal/blog page for the Cutting Horse and other Eventing news, the site was built using the Squarespace CMS platform. I recommended the system as the site is to be managed by the client after completion and I felt that Squarespace system offered a good balance between simplicity in account and content management as well as offering the back end hosting and support required. Though I prefer the Joomla system for its flexibility, it is more advanced to manage as well as requires on going maintenance of security patches to keep running securely with out trouble. Squarespace as part of its hosting pacakges provides the site software as well as the back-end management of their system which I felt this was an big advantage for a client managed site.
